Joseph is the Managing Member of WILSON HYDRO, LLC, Rolla, Missouri, a private consulting firm specializing in storm water management, flood studies, bridge hydraulics, storm water master planning, storm water management regulation development, technical training and peer review. He has 17 years of experience in storm water management.

Prior to WILSON HYDRO, LLC, Joseph was the Director of Storm Water Management for a consulting firm for seven years and was responsible for all storm water design and bridge hydraulics. He taught Engineering Hydrology and Fluid Mechanics at the University of Missouri-Rolla for three years.
