Along with working on the Wilson Hydro staff as a Biologist, Ms. Wilson has worked as a Lecturer and Research Assistant in Biological Sciences at The University of Missouri-Rolla where she teaches General Biology, General Biology Lab, Cell Biology Lab, and Ecology. She has research involvement in predation of ringed salamander larvae, Ambystoma Annulatum Immunity in children with exposure to environmental lead. Her research interests include the ecology, behavior and conservation biology of vertebrates, particularly concerning: predator-prey interactions in vertebrates; and ecology and management of endangered species.

Currently, she is a Biologist of WILSON HYDRO, LLC, Rolla, Missouri (January 2001 to present) where she specializes in wetland delineation. Her primary duties include wetland delineation and mitigation and permitting. She has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in Biology and a Master of Science in Biology from Southwest Missouri State University.
